About Valley Commodities
Valley Commodities, LLC has been in the grain commodities brokering business since 1996. Originally we concentrated exclusively on buying and selling rice. As the company grew we branched out into Safflower, Wheat, White Milo, other grain commodities, storage, grain cleaning, and grain transportation. The company’s management philosophy of integrating into all aspects of the grain industry has given us the ability to meet the toughest demands of our customers.

To compliment the grain brokering services we also have a storage and grain cleaning facility that is certified by the California Crop Improvement Association (CCIA). The total storage capacity of our facilities is upwards of 800,000 hundredweights of grain. Three flat storage warehouse with a capacity of 600,000 CWT and 6 steel silos with capacity of 200,000 CWT.

Valley Commodities, LLC also has the ability to clean and bag all types of grains and seeds. Our options to be able to bag in as small as 5 pound bags up to 2000 lb totes and bulk shipping gives us the ability to meet our customers needs. The grain cleaning facility cleans seed to CCIA Certification standards at 120 cwt per hour. The treating and bagging line operates at approximately 96 cwt per hour using 50 pound bags.

Our safflower division has been growing steadily for the past eight years. We started by contracting for oil production and built a base of 10,000 acres annually. Over the last couple of years we have shifted some of our production into the Birdseed market. Our Birdseed variety, SeedBright™ , is an ultra white, oleic safflower variety.
